Men's Long Jump Competition

If you look below you will find the 2008 Olympic results for the Men's long jump.

Within that list you will be able to see who the top eight jumpers are, where they are from, and what their distances were for all six attempts.

The men's long jump in the 2008 Olympics turned out to be a good competition.

It was relatively close, especially for those trying to get on the podium. The battle for third place was decided by only one centimeter.

Not to be outdone, the best jumps for the fourth and fifth spots were actually the same distance. The deciding factor ended up being which athlete had more fouls.
